An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, capable, ‘hands-on’ Business Manager to join our small, talented team at YMCA West Kent. In this vital new role, you will lead in securing homelessness / housing support contracts [c£300k – £2M+ pa] including collaboration with strategic partners, tender/contract readiness, tender preparation; mobilisation, contract management and managing outsourced services and sub-contractors.

We are seeking a tenacious, self-motivated person to:
- oversee the financial management and control of the charity and trading company
- develop and deliver a collaborative / consortium approach to major tender opportunities
- steward relationships with strategic partners and trusted consultants to achieve new contracts
- develop and nurture excellent relationships with Commissioners
- manage consultant / critical friend input to optimise delivery plans, financials and all tenders
- support CEO, project managers, staff and other specialists in tender preparation / review

- considerable expertise in managing and developing Corporate Partnerships, Relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, sub-contractors and holistic impact assessment systems

- personable, engaging nature to ensure excellence in delivery, collaboration and reporting
- ability to collaborate with projects and clients and co-produce tenders and reports
